Grab your bicycle, a morning latte and then it is off to work from this downtown gem! Time to hookup the Keurig and get the morning started! Project: The island not only provides functionality to a kitchen, but it also provides an unmatched aesthetic appeal. With its unique color selection and a built-in, microwave oven drawer, this island is ready to be put to use! This kitchen remodel took 6 weeks to complete. Design Tip: Consider adding an island to the kitchen. Not only does it look great, but it is also functional - check out the microwave drawer.
A peninsula is only as good as its functionality, and this peninsula has it all! Project: We included a peninsula into the kitchen's design, along with rope lighting and open shelves. The complete kitchen remodel took 6 weeks to complete. Design Tip: Rope lighting is inexpensive solution to adding style to a kitchen. Try adding rope lighting under the cabinets and/or countertops.
Thinking of how to finish your kitchen, start with a great backsplash. Project: This backsplash adds color, aesthetic appeal and depth of design to the overall kitchen with its complementary colors. With the backsplash installed, it's time to get cooking! Design Tip: Backsplash accentuates a kitchen's design, so consider installing backsplash throughout the kitchen.
Just add a new Keurig machine and your new granite countertop will be ready to use! Project: We removed the old countertop and replaced with a new, granite countertop. The project took 3 days to complete (which includes the sink, sink faucet, and plumbing). Design Tip: There are hundreds of granite colors, so take a piece of backsplash, a cabinet door (if possible), and visit 1-2 granite distributors to review all options.
Extend your kitchen with a dining room feature! Project: For this project, we remodeled the kitchen, but we also added cabinets and a countertop in the dining room. Now, that's what I call a successful kitchen remodel! Project: With new hardwood floors, new full overlay cabinets, new crown molding, new quartz countertops, new paint, new trim, new pendants, and new stainless steel appliances, I don't think you could ask for a better type of kitchen remodel than this! This project took 8 weeks to complete. Design Tip: Incorporate contrast into your kitchen design. For instance, if you have dark hardwood, then select light color cabinets.
Cook breakfast. Check! Prepare kids' lunches. Check! Grab a coffee to go. Check! Project: We remodeled not only the kitchen, but the whole 1st floor. We installed new flooring, trim, kitchen, paint, and lights (plus a few more things). The project took 8 weeks to complete. Design Tip: With an open layout, it can be hard to know where to stop when considering a remodel; so, make a list of what you really want done, then talk with your GC about the priorities on the list.
